Much sought-after by the international clientele, the 1st arrondissement is one of the historical districts of Paris. It was erected over the remains of Lutetia and includes the oldest monuments of the capital. The district of Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois imposes its serene Haussmannian touch along the Rue de Rivoli, one of the longest streets of Paris, straddling the 1st district but also the 4th to the Place de la Bastille, linking up with the 11th and 12th district. The district of Les Halles and Beaubourg characterizes by its lively atmosphere and its luxury real estate.
