About the resort Sveti Vlas is located at the foot of the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains and at the same time on the Black Sea coast, which makes it a nice and peaceful place to live. The climate is particularly favourable for the treatment of lung diseases because of the combination of sea and mountain. The only sea sanatorium in Bulgaria is located 1 km from Sveti Vlas. The beach of the resort is fine and golden, facing south, about 1.5 km long. The autumn here is long and warm and the winter is short, at least 1600 sunny hours. Sveti Vlas is a small resort-type town in southeastern Bulgaria, just 5 km from Sunny Beach and 10 km from Nessebar. Nearby are the villa settlement of Elenite (4 km) and also the Kamchia reserve and Cape Emine. Sofia is 420 km away from Sveti Vlas, Plovdiv is about 302 km away, Varna is about 91 km away and Burgas is 40 km away.
