Abandoned in the 20th century, it was acquired in 1993 by its current owners in near-ruin. Thanks to an exemplary restoration, carried out in close collaboration with the Regional Conservation of Historic Monuments, the castle gradually regained its former glory: the red sandstone façades were restored, the roof and timber framework entirely rebuilt, and the interior fully rehabilitated—always with respect for its authenticity.

This restoration campaign, praised by the specialist press, spanned over ten years and has allowed this heritage gem to shine once more in the Aveyron landscape.
