Out of the question for this popular French actor to confess he rents out his house on the Île de Ré. Unthinkable for this media tycoon to publicly talk about listing his villa for rent in Ramatuelle. The same rule goes for real estate agencies: silence is golden.
BARNES gave an interview to a Capital journalist on one condition: complete confidentiality for its clients.
“Sometimes, it’s the star that contacts us directly, but it’s rare”, explains Julien Bourdry, Subsidiary and Branch Director. “Most of the time we deal with their agent, their asset manager or their close family”.
“When we add a property to our catalogue, our consultants take great care not to leave clues in the house so as not to pique the curiosity of the renters”, says Julien Bourdry. “An award or photo could lift the veil of secrecy, so we advise our clients to keep them out of sight, although most are already very meticulous in that area”.
Thanks to these precautions, renters can enjoy their stay in a villa without ever imagining who it belongs to.
