Payment in cryptocurrency

Key steps

When you want to buy property with cryptocurrencies, you follow a similar process as in a traditional real estate transaction, with one extra step: converting your cryptocurrencies into euros.

Verification of parties

We verify your identity and the origin of funds to guarantee the legality of the transaction.

Account opening

If you don't already have one, we help you open an account with an authorized digital asset service provider (DASP) to facilitate the transaction. And we assist you with the deposit of converted funds with our banking partner (ACPR accredited).

Signature of the sales agreement

A preliminary sales agreement is drawn up, including a specific clause allowing payment in cryptocurrencies. This ensures that the seller receives the amount in euros.

Transfer and conversion of funds

You transfer your cryptocurrencies to a dedicated account, which are then converted into euros by our partner PSAN.

Finalizing the sale

The deed of sale is signed and the seller receives payment in euros, while complying with tax and legal requirements.

Security and compliance

BARNES works closely with specialist lawyers and notaries to ensure that every transaction complies with current regulations. This means that, even if you pay in cryptocurrencies, the seller receives payment in euros, with no risk of cryptocurrency volatility.

By partnering with experts, BARNES enables you to carry out secure and fast transactions. Don't wait any longer to explore this new real estate acquisition opportunity.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about the process, please do not hesitate to contact your BARNES branch or the consultant accompanying you in your acquisition project.
