A ‘celebrity refuge’, Villa Montmorency in the 16th arrondissement is one of a kind with its entrance monitored 24 hours a day by a team of security guards, where houses can be bought for millions of euros.
Near the Bois de Boulogne, this neighbourhood comprises six avenues dating from the mid-19th century. The upmarket estate has constantly developed since then. “There are now a hundred houses,” explains Laure de la Rivière, Premium Properties Director at BARNES.
“Villa Montmorency is a refuge for the famous: big industry names, actors, entrepreneurs and politicians alike,” says Laure de la Rivière. With around four or five sales a year, “the price per square metre can be as much as €12,000 to €20,000 or more for large plots.”
