One should not be in a hurry to settle there. “I accompany clients, enthusiasts of the 18th century, who have been searching for the rare gem for over three years,” says Johanna Beyer, director of the BARNES Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It is not a closed market, but a market where the supply is rare, where there is very little turnover, and the buyers are not just acquiring a home but a destination, a piece of history and national heritage that they wish to perpetuate.”
