THE CONCEPT

ARCHITECTURE - GAL MAROM ARCHITECTS

Rooted in the past but with a contemporary twist, Rav Kook Residences embody a deep commit- meant to preserving the architectural, historical, and spiritual aspects of the original site. As a creative architect, observation is central to my design process. I begin each of my projects by observing the surrounding area to get a sense of the context to which the place belongs and to understand the spirit that permeates it. I strive to tap into what the place wants to happen within it so as not to force anything upon it. I planned Rav Kook Residences as a harmonious encounter between past, present, and future within a collection of preserved and new buildings. After studying its historical building elements, including the work of artisans who came to Palestine in the late 1800s and built this site, I set out to create modern architectural details that incorporate elements from the past while offering fresh inspiration for generations to come.

SPECIFICATIONS & FINISHES BUILDING B

Building B Apartment Interior: The main entrance features a designed lobby with a private elevator, terrazzo stone flooring, and plastered walls in resin or tadelakt. Includes intercom with a camera, lighting designed by a consultant, and utility closets with a veneer finish.

Flooring & Roofing: Apartments have natural stone or hardwood flooring, with etched cement or wood decking on balconies. Wet rooms feature porcelain or natural stone tiles. Preservation includes restored chapel ceilings and sandstone walls.

Doors & Windows: Entrance doors are wooden with an invisible frame; interior doors have magnetic locks. Preservation includes restored wooden windows, while other windows feature insulated glass. Second-floor windows are Vitrocsa minimalist style, with electric shutters.

Air Conditioning & Heating: Mitsubishi VRF systems, electric boilers, underfloor heating, and smart home controls are included.

Electricity & Plumbing: High-end electrical fittings, smart switches, and three-phase power are installed. Bathroom fixtures are by CEA or equivalent, with freestanding baths, shower stalls, and European toilets.

Kitchen & Bathrooms: Kitchen cabinets by Dada or Boffi, and stone countertops with integrated sinks. Bathrooms follow high architectural standards.

Pools & Pergolas: Stainless steel private pools and iron stairs/railings are designed by artisans.
