BARNES continues to expand in Belgium

After its success in Brussels over the last five years, BARNES is consolidating its position in Belgium with the opening of a second office in the Walloon province of Brabant Wallon. “Our knowledge of the high-end property market in Belgium has led us to consolidate our foothold in the country in order to offer our clients a broader portfolio of luxury properties. The province of Brabant Wallon is attracting increasing numbers of upmarket clients, hence our decision to open an office there”, explains Thibault de Saint Vincent, President of BARNES.

Traditionally home to village houses and properties set on vast expanses of land, the province and property developers and currently investing heavily in high-end apartments in high-growth centres, near train stations, schools and major roadways: Rixensart, Braine-l’Alleud, Wavre, Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve. “House prices are highest in the north of the province, in the leafy outskirts of the Brussels-Capital Region: Lasne, La Hulpe, Genval, Waterloo, Grez-Doiceau and Chaumont-Gistoux”, adds Olivier Paquet.
