The world of superyachting is constantly innovating

The latest innovations in superyachting emphasise a new philosophy founded on responsibility, respect for the environment, and new technologies. And because environmental commitment is above all about human beings, numerous superyacht crews around the world have united behind the Clear Ocean Pact, an NGO seeking to eliminate single-use plastics on board yachts. Brokerage companies are also joining forces with conservationists to combat marine pollution. One of the remedies is the installation - which is becoming more widespread - of floating bins in the marinas and yacht clubs where these incredible boats moor.

“Superyacht clients are looking for hybrid propulsion systems, both for the comfort they provide (no noise or vibrations) and for environmental reasons and eco-awareness, as well as the lower costs associated with them. Because hybrid drive systems cut fuel consumption by 30%”. – Eric Althaus, CEO of BARNES Yachts.
